Gordon S. Gannicott
Attorney/Of Counsel
I pride myself on understanding a client’s goals and providing thorough, efficient legal service to achieve those goals. I work hard to be accessible to and respectful of my clients, as the two biggest gripes I have heard from legal consumers is the inability to reach their attorney and lack of attention to the client’s concerns and desires. Each client, case and claim is different, and I welcome the opportunity to discuss your legal concerns with you.
I graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1984. I spent four years working for Stoel, Rives, Boley, Fraser and Wyse (Portland’s largest law firm), followed by a yearlong trip around the world (primarily Asia), before forming Hollander, Lebenbaum & Gannicott in 1991.
I handle primarily automobile accident claims and work injury claims. I also represent clients in a wide variety of tort actions, including personal injury, wrongful death, sexual abuse, civil rights/employment related matters, social security benefits, and medical/legal malpractice.
I am admitted to practice in and have argued cases before the Oregon Court of Appeals, the Oregon Supreme Court, and the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. I am a member of the Oregon State Bar, Multnomah Bar Association, and Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
Starting May 1, 2022, I have retired from being a partner and am now of counsel with the firm. I remain available to my clients for any of their needs.
